What a Scan Grade measures

A Scan Grade is a 0–100 summary of how strongly the available public information supports a published selection at the time of analysis.

The essential distinction

A Scan Grade is not a win probability. A score of 80 does not mean an 80% chance of winning, and it does not guarantee that the selection will succeed. It is a compact way to communicate the quality and agreement of the information that cleared AI Bookie's publishing checks.

The five public components

Market quality
Whether the available market snapshot is complete and usable enough to analyze.
Price value
Whether the recorded price leaves a reasonable case for the selection at that moment.
Book agreement
Whether the available sources broadly support the same market picture or sharply conflict.
Coverage
Whether enough of the relevant supported market is represented to make the comparison useful.
Freshness
Whether the information is recent enough for the scheduled event and publication time.

The public components explain the category of support. Proprietary weights, source details, and internal thresholds are not published.

How to use the number

  1. Read the selection, market, recorded price, and timestamp together.
  2. Inspect which public components are strong or weak.
  3. Compare the pick with similar entries in the settled record.
  4. Expect losses at every grade level.
  5. Treat no-grade or no-pick output as a valid decision, not a missing promise.
